5 Sure Ways to Explode your Adsense Revenue |
|
Contrary to what you read in some ebooks, making money with Adsense is fairly difficult.
Sure, anyone can make a couple of dollars a day by putting up a website about their favorite hobby. But if you are looking to make serious money, your hobby just isn't going to cut it.
If you are sincere about making money with Adsense then over the course of the next few months you'll learn all that it takes to turn your sincerity and hard work into actual cash.
Let's start with 5 tips that you must always be aware of when using Adsense.
These tips will not make you a millionaire overnight, but they will guarantee that you are maximizing your possible revenue.
1. Make your Adsense ads look like they are part of the content
People do not like having advertisements shoved in their face. Your goal is to provide people with an opportunity, not another boring ad. You page position is an extremely important aspect of ad blending. Try as much as possible to make your ads contained within your content as opposed to around it. This can be done by putting your ads within a table and then left or right aligning that table
Everyday in newspapers and magazines we look at ads and most have borders. By matching the AdSense ad background and border colors to the colors of your page you will significantly increase your click-thru-rate. Changing your colors can easily be done through your Adsense control panel by creating a new theme
2. Use a Google Search Box
Within your Adsense panel, you will find that you can also obtain code to put a search box on your website. Many people don't do this as it does not seem to create much revenue. However, positioned correctly, it can act as the place where visitors to your site do enter their search time to go to the next place. If they click on one of the ads on the search page, then you will make money. Surfers surf the internet to find information. It is easy for visitors to find this information through Google or another search engine. By putting a search box on your page, you are making it easy for visitors as well as generating revenue for yourself.
3. Provide Good Content.
CONTENT IS KING!! If you want visitors to come to your website, bookmark it and click on your ads then it is extremely important, that you provide them with good content. If visitors feel cheated and do not find information on your page that they thought that they would, then they will surely leave as quickly as they came, without clicking on anything but the back button.
4. Repeat Success
If you have figured out a formula that works, stick with it.
If you see that one of your websites is turning a profit. Don't analyze the formula to death, just repeat it until it stops working.
Build ten sites and you will have multiplied your earnings by ten! Sometimes life can be this simple.
5. Choose the Correct Keyword Phrases
There is no point in building lots of sites and finding that your clicks are barely worth more than a penny.
The MOST IMPORTANT factor to exploding your Adsense revenue is to choose the keywords that will pay. Who wants to struggle with 3cent keywords when for the same effort, they could be struggling with $3 words?Labels: Article |

18 Common Mistakes that Violate Google Adsense TOS |
|
Google Adsense program is a popular web advertising program which provides a good income source for many websites. There are well defined terms of service to strictly adhere to when participating in the program. On my visit through sites and forums, I daily notice several instances of misuse of Adsense ads. So here a few helpful Google Adsense tips, probably many you already know, and few you might gain by knowing now. These adsense faq are all picked from the Program Policies, Terms and Conditions and FAQ itself and presented in a simplified manner. 1. Never click your own adsense ads or get them clicked for whatever reason. You know this one very well. This is a surefire way to close you Adsense account. Never tell your office associates or friends to click on them. Keep a check if your family or children are busy increasing your income by clicking your ads and indirectly trying to stop your income. Dont even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. Check the ads which appear on your pages by the Google Preview tool if required. 2. Never change the Adsense code. There are enough means of adsense optimization & customizations available to change the colour, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to colour and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS. 3. Do not place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any web page. Anyway, ads will not appear in those units even if you place more ad units. But this is the limit they set, so it is better to stick to it. 4. Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links. Update: Google has allowed you to run contextual advertising like Yahoo ads, Chitika etc provided the ads do not resemble Adsense ads. 5. Do not disclose confidential information about your account like the CTR, CPM and income derived via individual ad units or any other confidential information they may reveal to you. However, you may reveal the total money you make as per recent updates to the TOS. 6. Label headings as “sponsored links” or “advertisements” only. Other labels are not allowed. I have seen many sites label ads with other titles. Dont make your site a target in a few seconds gaze. 7. Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default. Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads. 8. One Account suffices for Multiple websites. You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fear that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads. 9. Place ads only on Content Pages. Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program. 10. Do not mask ad elements. Alteration of colours and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the url part is of the same colour as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc. 11. Do not send your ads by email. Html formatted emails look good and allow placement of these javascript ads. But it is not allowed as per TOS. You do not want impressions registering on their logs from any email even once. They are watching! 12. Keep track of your content. So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.
13. Do not alter the results after ad clicks or searches - Ensure you are not in any way altering the site which the user reaches to after clicking the ads. Do not frame, minimize, remove, redirect or otherwise inhibit the full and complete display of any Advertiser Page or Search Results Page after the user clicks on any Ad or Search results. 14. Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing - Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required. 15. Ensure you Language is Supported - Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, AdSense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages. Update: 16. Maximum 2 referral button per product per page - With the launch of the google adsense referral program, you are allowed to put only 2 referral buttons for adsense referral, adwords referral, Google pack and Firefox with google toolbar referral. 17. Do not specify Google ads as your alternate ads. - Several services like Chitika eminimalls allow you to place alternate urls, when a targeted paying ad cannot be displayed. This involved creating an simple html page and putting the ad to be displayed instead. Even Adsense allows an alternate url feature instead of displaying public service ads. But never use Adsense ads as alternate urls. 18. Do not confuse with adjacent images - It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors. More. Whenever in doubt, it is better to ask for adsense help from the learned staff of Google Adsense. They are very helpful! Click Here To Sign Up:Labels: Article |

Is Making $1 or $2 Daily With Google Adsense Good? |
|
Here’s an interesting discussion thread about a beginner seeking to make money with Google Adsense at Phil Wiley’s forum. His site’s 6 weeks old and he’s getting 30 visitors per day. Frankly, I’d say that’s excellent. Once you get the first click from an Adsense customer, you won’t turn back. If you can get the first click, the main task is repeating the process. If your cost for hosting a website is covered, then anything over your monthly cost is good. Your next task is to create more pages and/or more sites. In an old book of classified advertising, I remember reading that if your classified ad made a profit of even $1 per ad after the cost of the ad, product production, shipping and overhead then your next job was to find more advertising venues that would allow you to make a profit every time you ran an ad. The same thing goes here… Basically, I launched the site 6 weeks ago, and I now get an average of 30 unique visitors per day (I used to get around 5/day for the first 2/3 weeks). I also got one affiliate sale after just 2 weeks, but nothing else yet - however it was enough to motivate me to keep building my site! Now, in the first 3 weeks, I made around $3.50 from adsense, and now, in the past 3 weeks I’ve made $18.32, which is not much but not too bad (I think at least!). So I am now making around $1-$2 daily from google adsense.

Your Income With AdSense |
|
Google Adsense, as you all know, can make a great secondary income to your main website, or if you decide on an info site, a fairly decent income thru Google Adsense alone, if you know how to do it. But what is the right way and what is the wrong way of utilizing Adsense?
The basic generic elements to utilizing Adsense are content, display ads and traffic. That?s not so hard. Right? Well, what seems so simple can be very deceptively difficult. Granted, it?s not hard if you have the facts. People like Joel Comm and Michael Cheney have perfected Google Adsense through experimentation and testing on their websites to end up making a nice income from Google Adsense alone. But as you notice, their site is based around quality content and a set theme.
You can experiment and test yourself (start with Ad formats tutorials through Google) or you can get Joel Comm or Michael Cheney?s ebooks to help you achieve your goal. But no matter which way you go, through your own experimentation or with the help aids of a Guru, remember to follow the rules of Google.
Let me emphasize quality content, because some people are inundating the Internet, with what some people call, ?junk? websites. Which by the way, are websites that offer less then quality content with the sole purpose of only getting clicks.?
In fact, in my forum travels, I read a post where a webmaster was giving up his/her website, even though it had made around $10,000 because of all the hoopla about Adsense sites. What was my first initial question? Does or did this person have a junk site and was dropped by Google, or did this person?s income flat-line?
Creating an Adsense site using ?article crawling machines? or other automated article systems is what Michael Cheney?s says is ?like trying to build a brick house with out mortar?. These systems may get you up and running in the short run, but running a business in that matter, can definitely put your sense of accomplishment in the toilet and give your website and business a short run.. And yes, then you would probably need hundreds of websites with thousands of pages.?
Can you create a website with quality content and make good money with Adsense ? certainly. Google gives numerous examples of quality content with the use of Adsense. For example, look at AskTheBuilder.com ? a quality website that pulls in $1400 a day in Adsense income.
Thus, if you are looking for longevity on the web, go with a theme that interests you with quality content. Then you won?t need hundreds of websites or thousands of pages and you can build your traffic and a viable income, while keeping both your credibility and integrity intake.Labels: Article |

Build profitable adsense sites fast |
|
Recently we have seen a lot of adsense sites and related products springing up everywhere on the web. From how to build adsense sites fast to "tested and tried adsense secrets" ebooks. Also, there are software for building thousands of adsense sites in record time using free-reprint articles.
However, nobody is telling you how to make these adsense sites profitable. Well I want to do that in this article.
Firstly, lets look at the obstacle you have to overcome before you can make your adsense sites profitable.
1.how to build hundreds of content sites in a very short amount of time.
2.how to name your sites and not attract the attention of the search engines.
3.how to host your adsense sites and not attract the special attention of the search engines.
4.New sites have to over come the Google sandbox phenemenon. You have to wait for your new adsense sites to be indexed, listed
and appear in Google serps for you to even think of earning money from the sites. This could take anywhere from 3 to 4 months.
5.How do you get your sites indexed in the first place?. Submitting your sites using the Google submission page is outdated.
Most major search engines now crawl sites from incoming links found in other sites. So how do you get links on other sites pointing to your sites.
6.How do you identify profitable keywords that you will use to build your sites?. You need high demand keywords to input in your sites to be able to generate the kind of clicks on your adsense ads that will bring in substancial amount of adsense revenue.
7.How do you make your new profitable keywords sites compete with the established sites?. Remember that profitable keywords are high demand keywords therefore, very hard to rank high in search engines.
8.How do you link your various sites so that you don't get into trouble with the searh engines?.
9.How do you use reprinted articles in your thousands of sites so that it does not look like everyother Dick and Harry's site and reduce the relevance of your sites?.
These are very important questions you will have to address before you can start dreaming of hugh adsense earnings fast. However, you can go the slow route and build good, unique content sites that will last longer and earn you revenue for long time even after adsense craze has died down. But this will take you years to do.
Now lets look at how you can build these profitable adsense sites fast. How you can overcome all the obstacles listed above.
This is by no means a simple and easy tasks I tell you. But the reward is money, money and plent of adsense money. You will also need some tools that will make the job easier. These tools will be shown to you at the bottom of this article.
Firstly, you need a software that can build hundreds of your adsense sites fast using reprinted articles. The software should be able to fetch reprinted articles from article sites, format these articles and create pages using your own templates. It is important you use your own template because you don't want to look like everyother person using the same articles.
However, if you don't want to use other peoples articles on your site, you can write them yourself (herculean tasks indeed if you have to build hundreds of sites), or you can hire ghost writers at www.elance.com to write these articles at very reasonable rates. There is one ebook that teaches how to hire ghost writers easily and at cheap rates. This is a better option than using articles from article sites. These articles are not keyword rich, their keyword densities are very poor and they are not well optimized for good seach engine ranking. Check at the bottom of this article for where to get the software and ebook.
The domain names for your sites should be your main keyword for that site. You are going to optimize each page using one keyword. You want the adsense ads to recognize your page for that one keyword so tha it delivers ads based on that one keyword. Use hyphen for your domain names. Register your domain names for at least 2 years so that you do not raise a red flag at Google.
Host your sites on different hosts servers. This will aid you in your link structure. You are going to link your various sites in such a way that some sites receive many links than others. The ones with hundreds of incoming links are the money makers. There are very cheap web host. Do a search for "$1.99 hosting" and you will get them. You can check for how long they have been in the hosting business by gong to http://www.archive.org
There is the Google sandbox phenemenon. There is nothing you can do about that. Wait it out. Use the waiting time to write articles for your different sites, submitting your sites to directories, (here is a comprehensive list of article submission sites at, www.ebizstartups.com/article-submission-sites.html), doing reciprocal linking, buying links(if you can) doing seo for your sites etc.
How do you identify profitable keywords? you can subscribe to some membership sites that research and offer these high demand ( profitable ) keywords to their members. Or if you want to do the research yourself, go to www.pixelfast.com/overture - ( a site that helps you see what folks are paying for ads on Overture ).
Armed with your high demand keywords, you then build not too many web sites with these keywords. These sites will be your money makers. But remember that it is difficult ranking high for these keywords at the free search engines. so you will build hundreds of sites with low demand keywords that are related to your high demand keywords and send traffic to your high demand keyword sites from your low demand keyword sites.
When you write articles, let the link in your resource box point to your low demand keywords sites. So that you can build link popularity fast and then link to your high demand keywords sites from your low demand keywords sites. This way you have hundreds of links pointing to your few high demand keywords sites. So you archieve two things by doing so. One , you send traffic to your high demand keywords site and two, you build the link popularity of your high demand keyword sites. This will enable these high demand keywords sites compete favorably with other sites at the free search engines.
To cap it all.
What you are doing is basically building sites that will funel traffic as well as one way links to your high demand keyword sites using some very good resources for building your sites fast and obtaining the latest profitable keywords fast. Note that there are others ways to do this. But this is the safest way without getting your websites banned from the search engines.Labels: Tips |

Increase Your Click-Through Rate (CTR) Legally |
|
Notice: I said legally, coz there are many ways of increasing CTR using illegal ways. And illegal ways will get your account deleted by Google.
Here are some illegal ways. Please DON'T do these or your account will be deleted by Google:
1- Don't tell your visitors to click the AdSense ads
Google says: "Web pages may not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. This includes encouraging users to click on the ads or to visit the advertisers' sites as well as drawing any undue attention to the ads. This activity is strictly prohibited in order to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs. For example, your site cannot contain phrases such as "click here," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language that could apply to any ad, regardless of content."
2- Don't click on your own ads
Google says: "Any method that artificially generates clicks is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks, incentives to click, using robots, automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited, to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs."
You can learn more on what you CANNOT do by reading Google AdSense Program Policy located here: https://www.google.com/adsense/policies
Now, these are some of the legal ways that I use to increase my CTR:
1- Blend the AdSense ads to your web pages. If you remember, in previous email, I've mentioned about the color of your ads background & border. Make sure you use the appropriate color that matches your website background.
2- If you link to other websites, you can put the AdSense ads on the top of these links. Make sure your visitors see them first.Labels: Tips |

Content Is King For Adsense Sites |
|
Google has fast become the major player in the Search Engine arena and its success is brought upon by its many innovations in the Internet. Today, Google is undoubtedly the biggest search engine used by millions upon millions of people everyday, day in and day out. Many ecommerce sites fight for the top position in every search done in Google because they know many people rely upon their search results.
That is why when Google came out with Adsense, many have quickly jumped in on the opportunity to be a part of this amazing affiliate program. Many website owners utilized Adsense to boost their revenues.
The beauty of Adsense is that they can be installed in a site with minimum difficulty. They can also be customized so that they can blend with the site itself. They are relatively easy to install and Google has ensured that they won?t mess up with the program. Adsense can be customized as if they were originally part of the site.
Also, with Adsense, Google utilizes content filters that offer refined technology when it comes to serving ads to your adsense site. Many words have double meanings, sometimes even more. A search for such a word can be frustrating for the searcher when it comes out along with a different product or market. Google ensures that their technology can grasp the distinction so you can get more targeted ads on your site based on its content.
Content plays a major role for your Adsense site. Good content will keep you on the top of the list of search results and also be the one to be clicked on. For website owners, a good content ensures that there will be more adsense clicks done, the more clicks that are made, the more Adsense earnings will be realized.
Having a well thought of content keeps you ahead of the pack in Adsense because this is where it attracts the search engine spider as well as the interest and the eye of your website visitors.
Properly used keywords and contents put a certain ad in the pole position which in turn would generate more clicks. For the webmaster, this means more revenue since Adsense generates revenue by ?per click? basis while for advertisers this means more traffic and more sales.
Many webmasters and advertisers dedicate a lot of time on making good contents. Having a good content on your Adsense site encourages people to click on the ads. Doing a good research is necessary to ensure that your content generates the most number of clicks. Finding the right keyword and content construction plus the maximum and minimum cost per click is essential to create a balance and profit for both webmaster and advertiser.
Invest in a good keyword finder so that your content will be very useful as well as profitable for your Adsense site. Having content with the right keywords will make your Adsense site a very profitable one. See the money and the profits pour in. Do not settle for content that will do nothing for you, Adsense is fast gaining popularity and it may soon be a crowded market. Arm yourself with good content for your Adsense site to make it a venture that could spell more income for your site.Labels: Tips |

Simple Way To Make $20 Daily From Adsense |
|
I have always taken adsense revenue lightly. Of late, I am having a total rethink because adsense is one easy way to make a passive income that just has a habit of not stopping. Okay, here's how to easily pull $20 every single day from adsense.
If you don't have a website, the first thing you need to do is research a high traffic web niche. Niches like health, internet marketing, affiliate marketing, music, dating etc. These niches get a lot of traffic pull. Your goal will be to give out quality free stuff about the topic you choose to pull in traffic.
The next thing to do is to register a domain name and build a website, blog or forum around that niche. If you consider that too much of a trouble, just go to blogger.com and create an account in 3steps. If you have a site already, just skip this step and move on to the next.
Next, go to http://articlejoint.com, http://ezinearticles.com, http://ideamarketers.com or any other article directory and pick up articles and quality information for your new site. Post the articles and go to the next step.
Once you have that up and ready, go to google.com/adsense/ and sign up a free adsense account. They will manually review your site, so it may take a while but usually not more than 48hours. Once you are approved, login and follow the step-by-step help in the control panel to generate your adsense codes.
Go back to your website and insert the codes. Test to see everything works fine but please don't click on the ads yourself because google pays you each time the ads are clicked and clicking it amounts to cheating (all stated in the rules).
You are almost done. The last bit is to pull people more traffic to your site, so they will pick up the quality information and also click your ads. This can be done fairly easily. You can write a press release and submit to prweb.com, talk about the topic at online forums and leave a signature containing your website's link, write articles, submit your site to search engines etc.
The goal is to get people to start coming. Once the traffic starts flowing, you will make $20 a day easily and with time shoot up the figure astronomically.Labels: Tips |

How to Improve Your Google Adsense Earnings |
|
The advent of Google Adsense has made making money online easier than ever. Just add it to your blog or web site, and you're on the road to riches, right? Well, that's the general idea, and just about anyone with a decent amount of traffic can make a few pennies, but there's a big difference between making a little bit and planning your retirement on your own private island. If you're looking for ways to make more with Adsense, the follow tips should help, whether you're working with a blog or a web site:
1. Blend advertisements with the background of your page. This is a basic tip, but many people haven't figured it out yet. Countless studies have shown that people are more likely to click Adsense ads that have the same font and link colors as the rest of the page and that share the same color background (ditch the border altogether by making it the same color as the background).
2. Keep Adsense above the fold. In the web world, the "fold" is the bottom of the page. Anything that's below the fold means people have to scroll. I know you think your content is riveting, but the truth is that many people are busy and aren't going to read a whole article. You can't count on them to scroll down. Instead position ads above the fold so visitors are certain to see them.
3. Cut down on clutter. If you have menus upon menus on pages surrounded by polls, pictures, and lots of other features that can distract the visitor, you may really be hurting your Adsense CTR (and thus your total earnings). My highest CTR sites (well into double digit percentages) often have nothing but a title, an article, and a small navigation menu. Visitors are much more likely to notice and click on those ads this way.
4. Make sure every page you have Adsense on has content in the form of text. Although pictures are beautiful, the Adsense bot is not very good at figuring out what advertisements are relevant to them. If your site is picture heavy, do yourself a favor and add a paragraph of content below each image.
5. Focus on a niche. As smart as the Adsense bot is, it has a hard time figuring out what your web site or blog is all about if you're writing on everything under the sun. To maximize potential Adsense earnings, make sure your blog or web site is on a specific topic. That goes for page level stuff too. Don't write articles or blog entries that are all over the place. Focus on a single subject, so Adsense can target your readers with relevant ads.
6. Get more traffic! This always seems like an obvious tip, but so many people wonder why they aren't making good money (or any money) with Adsense, and it turns out they only receive 5 or 10 visitors a day. You don't necessarily have to have millions of page views a day to do well with Adsense (though we can all dream), but you do need to get up there in the thousands before you can start thinking about making a living this way. Make sure you have a quality site, and then study forums where people talk about ways of promoting their web sites. The more you read and learn, the better you'll do at getting more people to your site.
These tips may not change your life, but I hope they'll in some way help you improve your Adsense earnings. Everyone deserves the opportunity to make money from home (and maybe even quit their dead-end jobs some day). The great thing about the web is you don't have to be the biggest most popular site out there in order to make good money. Just stick with it, pay attention to tips like these, and you'll be making more in no time.Labels: Tips |

There is no question that you can make some good money with Google AdSense, but you're setting yourself up for disaster if you make any of these Top 9 mistakes!
1. Do not use fake information when opening your Google AdSense account.
Google says that's a no-no and they will cut your account off and keep all the money you may have earned. Besides, trying to hide your true identity can cause serious problems with the I.R.S. or whoever your tax authority is.
2. Do not hack or modify Google AdSense code other than to change the parameters that Google authorizes you to change.
Any attempt to bypass Google built-in algorithms not only poses a danger to the integrity of the network, but it threatens the financial modle that Google operates under. You’re not dealing with some Mom-and-Pop company here, and Google has the legal muscle and deep enough pockets to drag you through every court in the land if you damage their business with your hacking antics.
3. Keep AdSense ads off of your registration, confirmation, and all "thank you" pages.
Don't ask me why you can't put your ads there. It makes sense to me that those would be wonderful locations. Google thinks otherwise, however, and doing so is a hanging offense according to their Terms of Service.
4. Do not display AdSense ads and a competitor's ads (like Overture's) on the same page at the same time.
That just makes plain good sense. Google doesn't demand 100% SITE loyalty from you, but they do insist that their own ads not be cluttered up by offerings from their competitors.
5. Don't "beg for clicks" or provide any incentive for clicking on your Google AdSense ads.
This is a biggie and you see this rule violated all the time. Any of the get paid to do stuff sites that put Google ads in the member control panels are walking the plank and they don't even realize it.
Even those sites with the polite little messages asking you to help keep my site running by clicking on our sponsor ads are asking to be cut off if those happen to be Google ads.
6. Never click on the ads running on your own site
even if you are genuinely interested in the product or service and are thinking of buying it!
Nothing screams FRAUD louder than a webmaster running up his or her own click counts by happily clicking on ads fromtheir own site. The Google Gods can track this activity and it won't be long until you find yourself getting a goodbye note from their fraud team.
7. No misleading labeling
Google is very specific about what text can be placed around their ads. Their Terms of Service state: Publishers may not label the ads with text other than sponsored links or advertisements. This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.
This is to keep visitors from becoming confused and barking up Google tree when they clicked on an ad that led to a porn site instead of the recipe site they were expecting to visit.
8. Avoid keyword spamming and other divisive tricks
You may be tempted to buy one of those generates thousands of key-word rich pages in seconds programs that are so popular these days but I'll tell you this: Their days are numbered. Google is wise to such shenanigans and they will be hot on your trail. Other prohibited gimmicks include:
Sneaky page redirects that send a visitor off to a different site then they were expecting to visit.
Multiple sites, domains, pages, etc. which have substantially duplicate content. Hidden text or links of any type. Excessive outbound links on any page. Google recommends no more than 100. I'd keep it way below that.
And here is a nugget of wisdom straight from Google mouth Do not participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web as your website may be affected adversely by those links.
9. Don't advertise anything on Google prohibited items list.
It's a lot shorter lists than PayPal or eBay, but it includes a lot of the same stuff like hacking/cracking content, porn, illegal drugs, gambling sites, beer or hard alcohol (I guess wine is OK), weapons, and the other usual stuff.!Labels: Article |

Blogger Tips for Adsense |
|
If you have joined the blogging revolution that is sweeping the net, and you think you might want to make a little revenue ? or a lot of revenue ? from your blogging efforts, you need AdSense tips for bloggers. Blogging has opened up an entirely new way of how non-technical people interact with the Internet, and now, anyone can publish anything about any topic ? without having a website ? and anyone can profit without even having a product!
Adsense for blogs make perfect sense. Google?s advertising programs are designed to work with sites related to the keywords for the ads that are being presented. Each time you add content to your blog, the Google spiders gobble it up. The more you update, the more the Google spider visits your page. Ultimately, you move up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the topics that you write about. You see where this is going. The higher your search ranking, the more traffic you receive, which ultimately leads to higher revenue from AdSense ads.
The beauty of blogs is their potential for rapid growth. If you become known as an expert in your area of expertise, word of mouth spreads quickly and your blog can become very popular. So it is vital that you always teach something with every blog entry. You want your readers to come back frequently and they will if they know they will learn something. Not only will your readers bookmark your blog and return often, but they will link to your blog enthusiastically as well. People in forums will refer to your blogs and discuss what they learned. Websites will link to you as a valuable resource. In short, an informative blog can grow very quickly if the information it provides is valuable.
It is important to write about specific topics, and sprinkle your blog entries with specific keywords to get the best results ? and the highest revenue ? with your Google AdSense ads. There is a method to the madness. Start your revenue generating blog by testing the waters.
Decide what area you would like to write about and then do some keyword research. Research is easy if you use Google?s keyword tools found at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox . The keyword tools are located in your Google AdWords account. Yes, you need a free AdWords account to be successful but you don?t have to fund it to use the keyword tools. Look for keywords related to your subject that are high paying. These are keywords where the bid amounts are high. Make a list of the top paying keywords, and use that list to determine what topics you will write about.
Remember, you want people to visit your blog time and time again, and build up a readership, make sure that your blog is well written and informative. Don?t just target keywords for the sake of targeting keywords ? the writing needs to make sense! Writing valuable content is the first step to generating traffic to your blog, and traffic is needed to profit from AdSense ads!
You are allowed to use the AdSense ad units in two different places on each page. You can accomplish this in a couple of different ways. First, you can add the AdSense ad code to the template for your blog. This is done through the control panel for your blog, and some knowledge of HTML is needed. The other option is to paste the AdSense code directly in your blog post each time you submit a new post. You can use it once at the top and once at the bottom, or once after a few paragraphs of the post, and again after a few more paragraphs.
Get that code in there however you see fit ? but then pay close attention to the results so you can see what is working and what isn?t. Tracking is everything if you want to make real money!
Of course, you need to advertise your blog as much as possible as well. Make sure that you provide Trackbacks to other people?s blogs as often as possible, and that you visit blogs, leave comments ? and leave a link for your blog as well!Labels: Tips |

Tips For Place Ads |
|
Tip #1: Don't put ads on empty pages.
When I reworked my site, I built a skeleton set of pages that had no content, just titles and some meta tags. I displayed ads on those pages, however. Although all you see are public service ads at first, the very act of displaying ads on a page causes the AdSense web crawler to quickly fetch that page for analysis. A page with good content will thus begin showing relevant paying ads fairly quickly.
If you don't have any content, then, Google will have to guess as what your page is about. It may guess wrong, and so the ads that it displays may not be relevant. You'll have to wait until Google re-crawls the site for the ads to correct themselves. Here is what Google had to say when I asked them about how often the AdSense crawler updates a site:
Thank you for taking the time to update your site. New ads will start appearing on your site the next time our crawler re-indexes your site. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to control how often our crawlers index the content on your site.
Crawling is done automatically by our bots. When new pages are added to your website or introduced to the AdSense program, our crawlers will usually get to them within 30 minutes. If you make changes to a page, however, it may take up to 2 or 3 weeks before the changes are reflected in our index. Until we are able to crawl your web pages, you may notice public service ads, for which you will not receive any earnings.
It's better to flesh out the page before you start displaying ads on it.
Tip #2: Don't be afraid to ask questions
If you're wondering about something, don't be afraid to ask Google. So far, they've always responded to my questions within a working day. There are two email addresses to use, depending on the type of question:
Please feel free to email us at adsense-tech@google.com if you have additional technical questions or concerns. For general program or account questions, please email adsense-support@google.com .
Their responses are always very polite, and they appreciate getting problem reports and suggestions.
Tip #3: Avoid non-English characters on English pages
This one is a bug, to be honest. My surname is French, and I prefer to write it out correctly with the /accent grave/ on the first "e". Every page on my site would then include at least two accented letters, because my name shows up twice in the footer. On some pages my name shows up two or three more times.
Normally, this wouldn't be an issue. But on some pages the presence of the accented characters is enough to cause AdSense to display non-relevant ads in French. This happens whether the browser indicates a preference for French or not. When I reported this to Google, this is the answer they gave me:
Hello User,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
We are currently working as quickly as we can to address this problem. As soon as we have more information for you, we will email you again.
We appreciate your patience.
Sincerely,
The Google Team
Until this is resolved, I've decided to strip out all accents except on the pages that are actually in French.
Tip #4: Check your keyword density
Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do tell us that it's the /text content/ of the page that matters, not the meta tags. Before serving ads on a page, then, you might want to check its /keyword density/. A good, free tool for doing this is found here :
http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html
This lets you fine-tune the page before exposing it to the AdSense crawler.Labels: Tips |

Adsense Tips |
|
AdSense allows website publishers to display contextually relevant advertisements on their website. If a web visitor "clicks" on an advertisement, the web publisher will earn a percentage of the advertising revenue generated as a result of the click. Many webmasters have built content websites around the Google AdSense model. In many cases the specific intent of the webmaster is to profit from Google AdSense. Other webmasters use Google AdSense to supplement their revenue. Regardless of the webmaster's intent, the following tips will help webmasters looking to profit from AdSense.
Top AdSense Tips:
1. Niche Sites.
Targeted niche sites that have a clear theme, tend to generate more advertising revenue simply because it is easier to achieve decent search engine placement. Be warned though, you want to chose a niche where there is a sufficient number of advertisements available.
2. Target Keywords.
When determining the sites focus, consider how much the advertisers pay for the advertisements. If the site is focused on ringtones, like Ringtone Central http://www.ringtones-central.com the payout per click is going to be very small, as ringtones are not high ticket items, advertisers will not spend a lot on pay per click advertisements. With less obvious markets use Overture to determine how much advertisers pay per keyword, it is usually similar on Google. Search Overture for a keyword then click "View Advertisers' Max Bids" in the top right corner. This will show the Overture inventory and how much is paid per keyword. Because the market has become very competitive, it will be difficult to rank well in search engines with a new website that is optimized for the terms that have the highest payout. Consider targeting terms that are moderately priced.
3. Aged Sites / Time.
Over time as a website is spidered by Google, advertisements will generally increase in relevance. In general, older websites will rank better in search engines. The closer the advertisements relate to the webpage's content; the higher the "click-through" the publishers will see.
4. Coding.
In order to minimize a websites maintenance place the Google generated AdSense code in the website template or an include file. This will allow you to easily experiment with different advertisement sizes and ad placement, and keep the web maintenance to a minimum.
5. Tracking Channels.
In order to know how effective a specific website or ad placement is use distinct channels and subchannels within Google. This will allow you to discern what performs best on a specific website. Using channels will tell you what sites are making money, what advertisements are making money and what ad position is the most profitable on a specific website. Keep in mind that you should run an advertisement for a full week, in order to properly test its effectiveness, different days of the week will vary the web traffic so comparing one week to another will give the most accurate reflection of how effective a campaign performs.
When testing different advertisement sizes, placement or color schemes be sure to leave campaigns in place for one week, different days will often result in web traffic fluctuations. Comparing web traffic, week to week will give a clear indication of what ad formats perform the best.
6. Integrated Ad Placement.
Many webmasters have been successful at integrating advertisements into a website. The easiest way to integrate an advertisement into a website is to remove the advertisement border. This will allow the ads to better blend with the webpage. Google recommends contrasting the link colors with the website colors to increase click-throughs. It is also suggested that webmasters randomize the color of the advertisements, so that frequent users will not naturally "filter" the ads.
example of integrated ad placement:
http://www.golf-clubhouse.net or
http://www.security-protection.net
7. Number vs Value of Advertisements.
Up to three advertisements can be listed on each page. This decreases the value of the advertisements served, so publishers should cautiously add advertisement units, as it dilutes ad inventory. In other words you want to serve the most expensive ads at all times.
8. Hot Spots.
Like web copy above the fold holds true with AdSense as well. This means that advertisements that appear without having to scroll will be read more frequently. Hot Spots are areas on a web page that result in a higher percentage of click-throughs. According to Google the highest paying advertisements are located on the hot spots.
hot spots map - http://www.small-business-software.net/heat-map.htm
Google does not indicate if image advertisements or text ads perform better, so webmasters are encouraged to experiment with both.
9. Highest performing Ad Sizes.
According to Google the 336 x 280 rectangle, the 300 x250 rectangle and the 160 x 600 sky scraper result in the highest number of click-throughs. Depending on the website's design and layout, publishers may experience different results with different ad sizes, placements and color schemes. Expirement and track the results for each website to maximize the AdSense payout.Labels: Tips |

Making Double AdSense IIncome nstantly |
|
As you probably already know, AdSense is revolutionizing the way many infopreneurs are creating revenue from their web site traffic. The reason for this is its simplicity. Through AdSense, revenue is generated when someone simply clicks thru the AdSense ads displayed on the webmasters web site.
In this article I want to give you a few simple ways to dramatically increase your AdSense income.
The bottom line :
To increase AdSense income all you must do is increase the number of click thrus you receive.
There are two ways for you to increase your total number of click thrus. You can either increase your website traffic or you can increase your AdSense click thru rate. Now, getting more traffic would be great, but let's be honest increasing your web site traffic is much easier said than done. So, let's focus on increasing your AdSense click thru rate instead.
4 Tips to Increase Click Thru:
Match your AdSense to your website:
You want your AdSense ads to appear as seamless as possible. Your goal is to match every aspect of your AdSense ads to the theme of your website. What you want to do is remove the borders from your AdSense ads and match the background color of the ad to your website. Additionally, you want to match the color of the AdSense links to the rest of the links on your website plus choose an ad format that makes the ads look seamless.
For example, if your web site has a white background and the default color of your hypertext links is blue you will want to remove the border from your AdSense, make the background white, choose either a square or a rectangle as your ad format instead of a skyscraper or banner, and yep you guessed it… make the links blue.
Placement Matters:
Where you place your AdSense ads is just as important as how they look. Luckily, there are only a few concepts that you need to worry about in order to increase your click through rate.
The more white space around your ads the better The closer to the top of the page the better The closer the left of the page the better
Follow these concepts and I can assure you that you will see an increase in your AdSense click thru rate. (It really is that simply!)
Google Search:
Now this is one that I rarely see webmasters take advantage of. The Google AdSense program gives webmasters the ability to add a Google search box to there web site.
Why should you use this function?
Well, when a website visitor chooses to use this search box from your website your AdSense ID will be imbedded in ALL of that visitors Google searches. If that person does 1 search or 50 your AdSense ID will still be imbedded throughout process.
Why is this so great?
If that visitor clicks on any of the sponsored listings while surfing from your web site guess who makes money. YOU! If they hit the back button and click on another ad guess who makes money? YOU! This is absolutely huge. Through this function you now have the ability to earn multiple click thrus from the same visitor on the site visit. Please don't overlook how powerful this is. Besides, most of your website traffic will just be browsing anyway, so I why help them find what there looking for and make a little coin along the way?
Tracking:
Just like any other type of marketing, you won't know what's working the best for you on your web site unless you track the different things that you are experimenting with. Set up a few Google AdSense channels for the different ads that you will be placing on your website. Then just see which channels are working the best and stick to those.
That's it!
Follow the tips above and I can assure you that you will absolutely double your AdSense click thru rate and your AdSense income. The best part about the four tips I've shared here is that you can put them into action immediately and see how they will work on your website right now. Who knows you could be making twice as much by tomorrow by just making a few simple tweaks here and there.
Good Luck!Labels: Tips |

Why Adsense Sites Dont Make Money? |
|
With the huge success Google?s Adsense has been reaping, there are now only a handful of sites you?ll see that doesn?t feature Adsense on their sites. Everyone is hoping that they could make huge earnings from this pay-per-click affiliate program scheme Google has launched.
While there are many success stories (they are true) of sites that have generated good income from Adsense, there are still some sites that couldn?t grasp the real way of making an earning from Adsense.
This is because many people have failed to generate the needed factors to create a successful site that compliments the features Adsense provides. Many webmasters just put up or create mediocre sites and place Adsense on their site and just sits back and waits for the cash to roll in.
If that is the mentality of a site owner, then he won't earn from Adsense. Remember, a mediocre site will also get mediocre earnings.
To finally realize the Adsense dream, a webmaster must produce a site that has the factors and characteristics needed to generate the traffic and clicks it needs to be profitable. There are many things a webmaster needs to do to achieve this and be one of the millions of sites who have successfully done so. But there are so much more things a site owner has failed to do to make their site more Adsense friendly.
Here are five reasons why many Adsense sites don?t make money.
1) There are no good keywords on the site.
Many sites have failed to do the very essence of search engine optimization, Good Keywords. The internet has many websites competing for the attention of the ?netizens? and many sites contain the same or almost the same subjects, topics or niches. To date, Google is searching at over three billion sites; good keywords can get you a good lead above all the other sites.
It is essential that you research well on finding the good keywords your site can use to generate the traffic and get a high ranking on the search engines results. If many internet users are directed to your site, you get a huge opportunity to get great traffic. With traffic comes the profit.
In making money you must spend some. Invest in a good program that searches good and proper keywords for your site. These keywords that people are looking for changes and varies, a good keyword searcher is an investment that just keeps on giving.
2) The site doesn?t provide a good niche.
To get the attention of the people, you must provide a site that can perk up the interest of the people. Adsense works well if you maintain a good number of traffic, you have to keep the people?s interest on your site and have a group of people to keep coming back to your site and have them recommend it.
You must also find a niche wherein these groups of people are interested in. Find the right niche and you?ll find the right group of people that are willing to spend some money.
3) The site owner doesn?t maintain or update their site.
You can only maintain the interest of a person for a short period of time. Many websites have failed to keep up the traffic they generate for their failure to keep their site updated. Immerse yourself in your niche and try to find out what?s new and what?s hot.
You have to serve something new to the people or if not, try to keep abreast with the developments of your niche or maybe add some sub-niches on your site that still pertains to your niche to get new traffic and keep the attention of your clients in your site.
4) Some website owners don?t provide the full attention to their Adsense sites.
Many people just see their sites as a way to earn some extra money. You have to treat Adsense sites as a full size business to make it big. With the heavy competition you have, a good webmaster should treat their site as if it is their main source of income but still maintain a good schedule of their time.
5) Many webmasters have failed to devout time and research to their Adsense site.
Many elements are needed to build a successful Adsense site. Good keywords and the right niches can roll in the dough, but this takes time and effort. It is imperative to devout a certain amount of time in looking for ways to develop your Adsense site.
The internet is abound of sites that could help your own site. A little time, money and hard work can spell the huge difference between a successful Adsense site and a mediocre one.Labels: Article |

Replacing AdSense Defaults with Paying Ads |
|
Many online ad programs, including AdSense, will sometimes show default ads, or public service announcement (PSA) ads, when they have no paying ads to show. This can happen for many reasons, especially when their spiders crawl your pages for content.
What many webmasters do not realize, however, is that you can easily replace those unpaid ads and earn bonus revenue from your website. All you need to do is make a simple change to your ad codes.
In the case of Google's AdSense program, this is done by adding an alternate URL to your code. Using their online wizard, you simply add an alternate URL to your code, then copy and paste the new code into your pages.
You can view a sample of an AdSense alternate URL integration process here: http://www.alternateurl.com/demo
Once you have made the change to your ad codes, you will show an alternate ad in place of the PSA ad that would normally have appeared. Alternatively, you may also select to show a simple background color in place of your PSA ads, but be aware that won’t earn you a dime and it can look strange to display a blank space on your pages, whatever the color.
So you’ve decided to add an alternate URL to replace unpaid ads. That’s smart. Now, the challenge for many webmasters is how to make a "URL" appear as an ad. It's actually not that difficult, and there are a couple of ways to go about it. Let’s explore your options now.
One new program that was recently created to address this issue is AlternateURL.com, where you can create an alternate URL ad in just a few easy steps in any of the standard AdSense supported sizes.
Once created, you can embed the AlternateURL into your AdSense code. It's a simple solution that relieves webmasters from having to tinker with iFrames, CPA networks, or other systems to create an alternate ad for their Google ad codes.
Other options include adding “house ads” or ads that link to internal areas of your site. Remember, since you are adding a URL, you have to ensure that the page that opens will fill the correct size of the PSA ad you are replacing. Thus, if you are showing a 468x60 banner, you create a page that has a div or an image in that size. Be sure to left and top align the elements on the page, and ensure there are no margins or borders, etc.
Alternatively, you can create a page that displays an iFrame, which will fill the ad slot to be replaced. In either case, the question arises about what to actually place. Ideally, you’ll want rotating ads, and stats on how many you are showing, and what return in effective CPM revenue you are generating.
Some sites show Clickbank or other CPA network offers as their alternate ads. You can play around with various solutions to find the one that best suits your site and creates maximum revenue as well.
There's really nothing to lose by using an alternate URL, and a lot to gain. For more information, login to your AdSense account and review the procedure to add an alternate ad URL to your ad code. Or visit the AdSense Support site here: https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/topic.py?topic=153
You could be wasting a lot of adviews — and a lot of money — by not replacing AdSense PSA ads with an alternate URL. The method you use is up to you.Labels: Article |

Tricks to Explode Your Adsense Profits |
|
There are many adsense tips floating around the internet. Here are some adsense tricks that can drastically increase your CTR and your profits.
Lots of people say to make your ads blend in. However, some people are having a lot of success by making their links stand out. The most effective style seems to be having your links blue, while your other links are a less-noticeable color. A good example can be seen at www.lockergnome.com
- Place images directly above your ads. This simple technique has been known to increase CTR by 400%. To keep the images fresh some people randomize related images on their site using PHP code. You can see an example of these images at
http://www.how-to-make-money-online.info/
- Google has cited the 336x280 large rectangle as the most effective ad size.
- Place ads where your visitors will likely be focused.
Check out this heat map by Google -
http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html
- Weave your articles into your content. This is shown at lockergnome.com
- Place link units in the top left-hand corner. This part of the website has shown to be clicked on more than any other part of the page. You can see an example at lockergnome.com. (Look at the links at the top, towards the left in blue.)
- Take advantage of the "alternate URL" feature to avoid Public Service Ads that seep money away from your website.
- One of the best things you can do is add additional pages to your site. A web site with thousands of pages and tons of content often does very well in the search engines. You can get free content from article directories. You could also use public domain content, which is a favorite tactic of John Reese. Or, you could use content in the creative commons. This is getting easier than ever now that Yahoo and others have created a search engine specifically for content in the creative commons.
Succeeding with adsense is largely determined by the amount of traffic to your site. However, there are many adsense tricks that you can employ to get the most possible out of your site. Often times, this means doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling your earnings. The key is to find out what works for your web site. Testing and tracking is the key to increased revenue!Labels: Tips |

Get Relevant Adsense Ads On Your Site |
|
If you're an active Adsense publisher, I'm sure you have seen irrelevant Adsense ads on your site. Right? I've experienced them too.
Not only these ads do not relate to your website content, they will not get clicked as well.
Recently I've figured out several ways how to solve this problem.
1- Try adding META tags to your web page. The most important tags are TITLE, DESCRIPTION and KEYWORDS.
2- Rename your html file. Don't use a generic name. Instead, use your keyword(s) as your file name. For example, if the page is about making money with Adsense, simply name it make-money-with-adsense.htm.
3- Try refreshing your page again and again until you see relevant ads displayed. You can refresh the page by clicking on the refresh button, or pressing F5 key on your keyboard.
4- If any of the above tricks do not work, you can send an email to Google Adsense Support telling them about the problem. Don't hesitate. Their support team will reply to your email shortly.
I've experienced this problem with several sites of mine, and it was solved 2-3 days after contacting Google Adsense team.Labels: Tips |

The Powerful Passive Income Generator is Adsense |
|
Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites. Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for adsense to pay for your hosting costs.
Adsense revolutionized the world of paid advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract to your site, so the number of “banner impressions” dictate the revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you earn.
There is also a great disparity between payouts; because advertisers bid up the price for certain keywords, some ads pay more than others. As such, a site with few visitors but expensive keywords in their google ads can potentially still pull in a hefty payout.
Google really has taken the web by storm; attracted to passive income, more and more people are seriously capitalizing on their Google adsense advertising. Some of the highest earners manage to attract enough visitors to make a four figure monthly income, just from using adsense alone! This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google’s adsense success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic reputation before introducing the program. They are a publicly traded company with physical headquarters. This, and the fact that anyone can apply to use adsense for free, has caused millions of people to sign up. For google it was a smart move, because now they extend their presence to countless websites and generate millions of dollars in advertising revenue. People were never reluctant to sign up, because the program is free. Google benefits by more people using adsense, so offering it for free was the best thing they could do.
One of the driving forced behind the program are its relevance to each and every page on a website; the program picks up keywords appearing in the website copy and automatically displays relevant ads. This increases the chances of people clicking through, and the webmaster collecting more revenue.
People are leveraging their income by operating several websites and attempting to attract as many targeted visitors as possible; in many instances we can observe that people work hard at a site, then once it is established they can largely leave it alone, yet still collect significant checks.
A major concern for entrepreneurs was the danger of a competitors ads showing up on their site; thanks to the adsense feature where it only displays relevant advertising. However this problem was solved by offering webmasters the option of filtering out unwanted ads. They can submit the URL of the competing site in their account, and any ads from the website will be blocked.
Google recently came out with a new feature: small targeted keywords based on the site’s content are displayed; then as people click on those, a page opens showing a variety of pay-per-click ads based on that keyword. This gives webmasters the chance of displaying more advertising in less space.
Adsense also adds creditability to your website; the more focused the content, the better the ads will be and this encourages people to built high quality websites. These make the net a better place and generally provide a free service; site owners can afford to share their expertise or passions because they can receive indirect revenue’s. The visitor does not pay for the information; instead the advertisers do, making the website’s existence possible in the first place.
It is no surprise Google adsense is the most widely used form of advertising; they have created a program that is beneficial to both advertisers and users with their “no click no pay” mechanism, or more popularly called “pay-per-click”. Advertisers do not pay for ads that are not drawing visitors, and website owners are paid more for each click than they would if the system were based on the number of people viewing the ads, instead of clicking on them.
All in all Google adsense has developed itself into a powerful tool, used by large corporations and the kid next door. They have truly revolutionized how the web thinks about advertising and made the process more profitable for site owners, while less costly for advertisers.Labels: Article |

Optimize Site Navigation to Improve Adsense earning |
|
Webmasters know that Adsense generates a sizeable source of additional advertising income. That’s why they’re using it to go after the “high paying keywords.” They’ve bought the lists that tell them what these keywords are and they’ve used various other methods of identifying them. And yet, after putting up these “high paying” pages on their websites, the advertising money they expected to see isn’t rolling in. What’s wrong?
Well, having those pages is one thing. But driving visitors to those pages is an entirely different thing and is often what’s lacking. To get visitors to your high paying keyword pages, you’ve got to optimize site navigation.
Take a moment to think about how visitors use your website. After landing on a certain page, they’ll often click to another page that sounds interesting. They get there by way of the other links that appear on the page they landed on. How you enable visitors to move about your website is what is meant by the term, “Site Navigation.”
A typical website has a menu of links on each page. The wording on these links is what grabs a visitor’s attention and gets them to click on one of the links that will take them to another page of your website. Links labeled “Free Resources” or “Download ebooks” are generally good attention-grabbers.
This same site navigation logic applies to driving traffic to your high paying pages. I have some pages on my website that get a lot of traffic from search engines, but the earnings on these pages are very low. I use cleverly-labeled links to get visitors off these pages and onto my higher earning pages. It’s a great and inexpensive way to turn cheap clicks into real dollars.
Ready, Set, Test
Before you begin testing, you’ve got to have two things: something to track and compare; and some high earning pages you want to funnel your site traffic to. For fast results, select a few of your highly visited pages.
Next think of ways to get visitors viewing a particular page to click on a link to one of your high earning pages. That’ll help you come up with a catchy description for the link. And remember, you can use graphics to grab your visitors’ attention. Be creative!
And remember, it’s all about location, location, location. Once you’ve come up with the attention-grabbing description, you’ve got to identify the perfect spot on your page for positioning the descriptive link to your high paying page.
Spend some time visiting other websites to see how they’re maximizing site navigation. For example, using a “Hot Pages” list or a “Most Read Articles” list are common menu selections.
Then let the testing begin. Try putting different text on different pages. That way you’ll get a feel for what works and what doesn’t. Mix things up a bit – put links on the top of the page and the bottom.
It’s now all a matter of testing and tracking, and testing and tracking until you find the site navigation setup that works best!Labels: Tips |

5 Ways To Boost Your Google AdSense Earnings |
|
Google AdSense is a great way for webmasters to monetize their websites. While many webmasters are struggling hard to earn $3 - $10 per day, some 'genius' webmasters have already enjoyed $30, $100, and even $300 a day from AdSense ads on their websites. How are these 'genius' webmasters differ from their counterparts? They think different! They think out of the box!
Let me share with you some tips which has been responsible in boosting my AdSense profits by 700%. Here are 5 of them, and if you follow these steps, I'm sure you'll see a difference in your AdSense income.
Here are the tips:
1- I concentrate on 1 format of AdSense ad, which is the Large Rectangle (336x280). This format has been proven to work with me in resulting high click-through rates (CTR). Why this format? Because the ads look like normal web links, and people are trained to click on these types of links.
2- I create custom palette for my ads. I choose white as the color for the border and background. This is because, all of my pages have white background. The idea is to make the AdSense ads look like they are a part of my web pages.
3- Previously, I put all my AdSense ads at the bottom of my pages. One day, I moved those ads to the top of the page. The result surprised me. My earning increased! Since then, I don't hide my AdSense ads anymore!
4- I maintain some links to other relevant websites, and I put my AdSense ads at the top of the links, so that my visitors see them first.
5- I automate the insertion of AdSense code into my webpages using SSI (server side included). You'll need to ask your web administrator whether your server supports SSI or not. Here's how to do it. You just put the AdSense code in a text file, save it as 'adsense.txt', and upload it to the root directory of your web server. Next, call the code on other pages using a one line SSI code like this:
This trick is really a time saver especially for those who use automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

Make More Money with Google AdSense |
|
Like any Google AdSense Publisher, you will want to increase your Google AdSense revenue. Your AdSense revenue depends on 3 factors: (1) the number of visitors to your site, (2) the number of visitor that clicks on the ads (Click Through Rate, or CTR), and (3) how well the ads pay (Cost Per Click, CPC). Get anyone of these factor to go up and you will earn more money from AdSense!
Google AdSense Revenue = Traffic x CTR x CPC
Fortunately you can control all of these variables. Increase the your web site traffic
There are many techniques to increase your web site traffic, you can consult The Basics of Web Site Promotion for more idea. However, I will list a few techniques here:
Improve your search engine ranking. You can read The Importance of Top Search Engine Ranking to get an idea why. Basically, you get more traffic as your site get closer to the top (of any list including search engine result page) Add your site to directories. They are great way to build link popularity, as well as, get your site indexed in search engines. Add your site to search engines (not needed if you already did above)
Advertise your site through other means Etc.
Increase the Click Through Rate
There are many techniques, I will list a few here:
Make sure the ad is relevant. Although Google does most of this (Google AdSense will show ad according to the keywords on your page), you still have to optimize keywords and keyphrases on the your pages. Make sure the ad is visible (many people develop ad/banner blindess), so pay attention to your Google AdSense ad:
placement - location of the ad on the page, i.e., top, bottom, side, integrated, etc. layout - leaderboard, banner, tower, etc. color scheme - standout color scheme, versus blend in color scheme.
Use channel and data gathered to experiment with the above combinations to optimize the click through rate.
In any case, never ever ask your visitor to click on the ads or do it yourself. This is against Google AdSense TOS and you will get thrown out of the program.
Increase How Well the Ads Pay
Your option will be limited with an established sites because you have to keep web pages relevant to the site theme, but you can create new sites to cater to more expensive keywords. You can do this by going to Google AdWords and see what advertiser are paying per click (you do not have to sign up to do this). For example, these are some words and recommended bid:
Well, you get the idea.
$1.56 - "webmaster" $20.00 - "web hosting" WOW!!! $0.62 - "forums"
Create web pages relevant to your site, but optimized to the selected keywords. Avoid the use of low paying words that may confuse AdSense.
I hope this basic tutorial will give you a good foundation and allows you to become a more successful advertisment publish, that is, to make more money with Google AdSense.Labels: Article |
